Rainbow Falls

July 30, 2010

Upper Peninsula WaterfallsLocated about 16 miles north of Bessemer, and a half mile hike from the mouth of the Black River in Gogebic County, Rainbow Falls is a scenic waterfall with an observation deck on the west side.

Rainbow Falls cascades down a 30 foot drop into an eroded pothole at it’s base, and is the last waterfall on the Black River as it enters Lake Superior.
